About the school

The Children's Trust School is one of the only specialist schools in the UK dedicated to providing education, therapy and care exclusively for children and young people aged 3-19 with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). We also support a range of neurological conditions and complex medical needs through our residential and day placements. We provide a safe, caring, organised and happy environment in which the needs of all our pupils can be met. In partnership with parents, we enrich each child's quality of life by promoting their intellectual, physical, emotional and social development. We offer age-appropriate education and activities for all our pupils, from dedicated early year's classes for the youngest children, to further education-style classes for older teenagers. Pupils come to the school from across the south east and beyond, including Surrey, London and the home counties. Our school is set in the beautiful 24-acre grounds of The Children's Trust, the UK's leading charity for children with brain injury. We are within easy reach of London and the M25. Facilities on site include a state of the art hydrotherapy pool, purpose built residential accommodation and a range of outdoor facilities designed for children with the most complex disabilities.
