Admissions policy and school procedures

As a special school we mainly facilitate in-year applications and school placement to the school.

If your child is already in school and you’re considering a transfer to a new provision, in first instance you should:

  • Discuss it with your child’s current school.
  • Discuss it with other key professionals i.e., social worker / education case manager.
  • Discuss it at your child’s Annual Review meeting.

If you would then like to start the application to The Children’s Trust School, please contact us on 01737 365 080 or email placements@thechildrenstrust.org.uk. In addition, please find linked below our School Admission SOP.
