Charity of the Year
A Charity of the Year partnership can provide a great focus for you fundraising activities. By choosing The Children’s Trust as your Charity of the Year a dedicated Account Manager will work with you to create a bespoke plan that finds fun, innovative and appropriate ways to get the whole of your organisation, customers, clients and stakeholders involved in fundraising. We can build up strong relationships and throughout the partnership clearly communicate the impact the funds raised will be having.
Following the incredible success of our Charity of the Year Partnership with Credit Suisse in 2011, they continue to be a valued supporter. Each year a large team come in and volunteer their time to help maintain the grounds at our National Specialist Centre alongside annual donations and helping at our Christmas party for the children.
Getting staff involved in fundraising and volunteering for The Children’s Trust is fantastic for motivation and team-building. Whether your staff want to raise money or donate their time or skills we have a range of existing activities and events that you can pick and choose from. We also have great experience in working with companies to decide which activities will work best for your business whilst putting your staff at the heart of our organisation and raising maximum funds.
We are now in our second year as the partner charity for Aquila. They have so far raised over £60,000 and funded essential specialist equipment. The partnership has been a fantastic success with staff taking part in marathons, bike rides and abseils. They have organised cake sales, wine tasting evenings, auctions and raffles and volunteered at numerous events.
We can offer a variety of flexible and tailored sponsorship packages to suit your business objectives and budget, from events to specific projects. Sponsorship can help to build positive awareness of your brand and reach a specific target audience.
QBE and Irwin Mitchell kindly sponsored our Parents Handbook in 2015. The handbook received an acknowledgement at the BMA Awards and was Highly Commended by the judges. It also won Runner Up in the Long Term Conditions category.

Gifts in Kind
Supporting our work by donating products, services or professional advice is a fantastic way for us to keep over overhead costs down and enables us to spend more money directly on supporting children with brain injury. It’s also a great way for you to utilise your corporate assets and skills for the benefit of a great cause.
The 5-star Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington has donated a prize two years running of a night’s stay with breakfast. Using this as the first prize in a raffle has meant we have been able to raise a total of over £4,000.
