Helping with Transport & Facilities

Our transport volunteers are a vital part of The Children’s Trust, whether it’s transporting children to medical appointments or driving them on fun and exciting trips. We're also looking for volunteers to support the upkeep of our wonderful grounds.

Current roles:

We are looking for volunteer Drivers to assist when, one of our children and their carer needs to go to an essential hospital appointment, an event or a day out, our volunteer drivers will take them and bring them back. The destinations are always varied and therefore flexibility is important.

We are looking for volunteers passionate about horticulture and gardening to support the Grounds Manager in making sure that our historic gardens and grounds are maintained to a high standard. Our gardens and grounds are enjoyed by the children and young people who live and to go to school here, their families and other visitors and our staff who work here. 

Supporting our Fundraising & Events Team

We need to raise over £8 million every year to keep our services running and develop innovative new ways to reach more children and families. .

Current roles:

We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our team of Action Volunteers to support our fundraising events, motivate our fundraisers and to help raise vital funds to make a real difference to the lives of children with brain injury. Throughout the year, The Children’s Trust are invited to attend various community events and our aim is to ensure the charity is represented at all of them, for which we need you! Whether you have a few hours or a whole day to give, this role suits a variety of skills and availability.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who enjoy interacting with people, to help coordinate the placement and collection of our fundraising boxes across the county.

We are looking for an organised, proficient, proactive and reliable volunteer to provide support and assistant to the Partnerships Manager for Education in the Voluntary Fundraising Team. 

Administration Support

Come and join our busy People Team by providing essential administrative support. 

Current roles:

We are looking for a volunteer to make a real difference in the organisation through supporting and assist in EDI for our staff, beneficiaries and volunteers. We are early on in our journey, so this is a unique opportunity to help shape our work in this area.

We are looking for a highly organised, proficient, proactive and reliable volunteer to provide administrative support to the Professional Excellence, Training & Learning team based in The Children’s Trust School.
