The Children's Trust will send you a FREE reminder message on the day before your gift is due. After your donation is taken on the following day, we will send you a message to say thank you.
If you'd prefer not to donate for a month simply reply to our reminder text with SKIP within 24 hours of receiving the first text message. We will be in touch the following month to remind you about your next donation.

Information for monthly mobile donations
If you choose to support The Children’s Trust with a regular gift through your mobile, you’ll be part of monthly subscription service where you will receive a free monthly SMS from The Children’s Trust the day before your gift is due.
When you sign up to give regularly through your mobile, you’ll need to reply to the first message that we send you to activate your gift. Once you have responded to this text, your gift will be activated and your first donation of £5 will be either added to your phone bill or taken immediately from your pay-as-you-go credit. You’ll be charged £5 plus one standard rate text message in the first month.
Every month, if you’re happy to give you don’t need to do anything and you’ll be charged £5. We will receive 100% of your donation.
Skipping a donation
If you’d like to skip a month, simply text SKIP to either 70111, 70030 or 70800 depending on which code you receive your monthly messages from. You’ll be charged one standard rate text message. If your phone is out of range or switched off, you don’t need to worry. We’ll only take your gift 24 hours after we know that your phone has received our message.
Ending your gift
If you’d like to stop your gift at any point, please text STOP to the five digit shortcode you receive your monthly messages from. You’ll be charged one standard rate text message. By texting STOP this means you will no longer receive any future monthly SMS from The Children’s Trust UK.
How much of my money reaches The Children’s Trust?
Texts will be charged at £5 plus one message at your standard network rate; the charge will show on your bill and the sender will show as a five digit number, not The Children’s Trust. 100% of your donation will go to The Children’s Trust.
All supporters must obtain permission from the bill payer before sending a text message. If you are under 16 years old, you must have your parent or guardian’s permission before signing up to our campaigns.

By using this service, you agree that we may text you on your mobile in the future. We will also tell you about fundraising and other work that The Children’s Trust does. You can also request no further SMS messages by texting NOSMS to 78866.
Data obtained from you in connection with this SMS service may include your mobile number, your carrier's name and the date, the time and content of your messages and other information that you may provide.
The Children’s Trust will not be liable for delays or failures in receipt of any SMS messages, as delivery is subject to transmission from your network operator and processing by your mobile phone device.

This charity donation service enables you to donate and receive information about the work of The Children’s Trust and by using it you agree that we may contact you in the future.

The Children’s Trust receives 100% of your donation.
If your keyword and short code are valid, you will be charged the £5 when you receive the bounce-back message – this cost will be applied directly to your mobile phone bill. It may take some time for you to receive a bounce-back message. Please wait until you receive it. Any repeat texts will result in repeat donations.
If your keyword or short code are invalid, you may not receive a bounce-back but may still be charged your standard network message charge. You will not be charged the £5 donation as you will not be donating to The Children’s Trust.
You can only donate from a UK mobile phone number. You cannot donate using this service from a mobile phone number from Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands or Isle of Man. If you donate using this service from a UK mobile abroad, you may incur additional network charges. You must obtain permission from the bill payer before sending a text message. You must be 16 years old or over to send a text donation.
There is a limit of four times per day you may make a donation via text but some mobile networks have a daily limit of £30 in premium. You will not be able to donate more by text from the same number on the same day, but you may still incur your standard network message charge if you try.
All donations to The Children’s Trust via the £5 text, are non-refundable.
