Shop sustainably, bag a bargain and support a brilliant cause!

On Wednesday 12 July, The Children’s Trust School hosted their annual art festival. This year’s theme was ‘Regeneration’.

This week we were delighted to welcome back two members of staff who worked at The Children’s Trust in 1989.

To mark the end of Volunteers’ Week 2023 we celebrated with our wonderful volunteers at our specialist centre in Surrey and in our charity shops.

The 1 – 7 June marks the 39th year of Volunteers’ Week. Here at The Children’s Trust, we are joining thousands of charities and voluntary organisations recognising the contribution volunteers make across the UK.

This week (15 – 21 May) marks Action for Brain Injury Week, a campaign dedicated to raising awareness of the impacts of brain injury. To do this, we have been sharing a week in the life of a young person on a neurorehabilitation placement here at The Children’s Trust.

This week (10 – 15 April) marks World Music Therapy Week. We have taken this opportunity to shine a light on what music therapy looks like here at The Children’s Trust.

On Wednesday 22 March, The Children’s Trust School hosted ‘Accessible Arts Day’.

The purpose of the day was to showcase how the teaching staff make art accessible and immersive for the children and young people that attend the School. This work in the arts helps the learners reach their personal educational goals, as well enhancing their wellbeing and quality of life.

The Children’s Trust has received a donation of technology worth £52,000 that will allow children to explore unique experiences.

4-year-old Millie is taking part in the Surrey Hills Hike challenge to raise money for The Children’s Trust.
