Survival Challenge

Join us in 2019 to tackle the Arctic Survival Challenge and conquer the extreme terrain and conditions of the iconic and mesmerising Arctic Circle. Cross country skiing, snow shoeing, ice fishing, husky sledding and snowmobiling are a handful of the challenging activities that await in the Swedish provinces of Jämtland and Härjedalen. This 8 day trip gives an insight into the culture and environment of the Sami reindeer-herds people combined with a journey into the frozen beyond. This is a harsh environment to test your survival instinct, whilst enjoying the peace, tranquillity and beauty of the wilderness and starry skies. This is an open challenge, organised by Different Travel. If you’d like to join our team for this challenge and fundraise for The Children’s Trust, please fill out the booking form appropriately. If you have any queries about the challenge, please feel free to contact the Events Team via or you can contact the event organsiers directly on « view other treks & challenges Main photo by Lauri Rantala, Flickr
