Everest Base Camp Trek

15 October 2016
  • Join our flagship 2016 challenge to tackle Mount Everest and trek to the most iconic base camp in the world

Nepal now has the green light for travellers to return, which is extremely good news for the region, as it is in desperate need of tourism to help recover from the events of the past year. This 16 day trip gives an insight into the lives and culture of the Sherpa people combined with a journey into some of the most breath-taking scenery. The ascent is steady and well-paced, to best suit the acclimatisation needed. Sunrise on the snow-capped peaks above the Khumbu Glacier is an unforgettable sight from the summit of Kala Pattar.  On this trek for The Children’s Trust you will be joined by our Chief Executive, Dalton Leong.
