Willow Appeal: Creating brighter futures

Thanks to our wonderful community of supporters, we’re transforming one of our existing buildings into a fully accessible space, helping more children access life-changing neurorehabilitation when they need it most. Using innovative technology and specialist expertise, children can rebuild vital brain pathways and relearn skills such as walking and communicating. We hope to welcome families soon and are now raising a further £130,000 to enhance facilities, creating a family room and ensuring even more children receive the support they deserve. Your donation will help make these vital improvements a reality for children who urgently need our support.

Supporting Seb every step of the way

Seb was just ten months old when a serious infection led to a brain injury that changed his life. Now aged five, he faces significant challenges and requires constant support. Seb attends a school for children with disabilities and loves his routine and being active. Following two rehabilitation stays, The Children’s Trust helped support Seb’s progress and continued working with his family and nursery to ensure he received the care and understanding he needs to thrive. A legacy that goes the distance

Gifts in Wills play a vital role in helping The Children’s Trust support children and families for years to come. Jim Bush volunteered with us for more than 20 years and left a generous legacy which funded a new minibus, enabling children with brain injuries to travel safely and comfortably to appointments and activities. In 2025/26, supporters left an incredible £839,260 in Gifts in Wills, helping create brighter futures and new opportunities for the children, young people and families we support. Support our work

As children grow and their interests change, donating preloved clothes, toys and books is a simple way to support The Children’s Trust. Last year, supporters donated more than 127,000 bags of quality items, helping raise vital funds for children with brain injury and neurodisability. These donations also provide affordable essentials for local families, creating a sustainable cycle of giving that benefits children and communities alike. With shops in Surrey, Kent and Sussex, there are many locations where you can donate your unwanted items or pick up a bargain.
