Sporting Events

Since the first London Marathon in March 1981, hundreds of thousands of people have completed the 26.2 mile London Marathon route, making their way past some of London’s most iconic landmarks with continuous cheers of encouragement from the most supportive of all crowds. And you could be there in 2026!

The Children’s Trust, the leading charity for children and young people with brain injury, will have guaranteed places available on our Squad for London Marathon 2026 – and we’ll be warmly welcoming any runners who are successful in securing a place via the ballot.

‘..Running the London Marathon for The Children's Trust was one of the toughest challenges I have ever taken on but also the most rewarding and inspiring experience of my life. Come join me and be part of the team.’
