The information film, Living with a brain injury, covers what a brain injury is, the side effects of brain injury and tips for children and young people who have had a brain injury.

Charlotte, who received support from The Children’s Trust as a child, is interviewed in the film (you can read her Real Story here).

Isobel Hatfield, a therapist from The Children’s Trust’s Brain Injury Community Service gives advice on managing the side effects of brain injury.

Students on Nescot’s university-level HND course filmed on location at the organisation’s headquarters in Tadworth.

“This has been a really interesting project for the students to work on, and they’ve learnt a lot from the experience,” said Louise Gaskin, Nescot’s Head of Sound and Visual Arts.

“It has been a really educational experience,” said HND student Tom Kershaw, who was Director of Photography during the project.

The film is one of three two-minute films made by the students. The other two films will be used to promote the charity.

Nescot supports The Children’s Trust through fundraising each year, including a unit run by Level 1 Computing students in which they make and sell Christmas cards.
