A crowd sourced of words used to describe The Children's Trust School

How would you describe our School?

This is a crowd sourced collection of words people have used to describe The Children's Trust School.

It is moving and exciting to read your account of your commitment to the use of the Arts to give agency to your children and young people and to release and foster their creativity. You have applied your principle of doing the Arts WITH and not TO or AT your pupils rigorously and you give wonderful examples of how you enable pupils with profound disabilities to take ownership of their creativity, ensuring agency and control.

- Artsmark Assessors, Platinum Award, January 2023

The Children's Trust School provides an outstanding environment for its children and young people. The highly effective care and experience of the staff is immediately apparent when you visit the school, and all children are encouraged to explore a broad range of activities. The use of communication technology and music helps the children to make significant progress, under the watchful eyes of a truly dedicated team, who provide unique customised learning programmes.

The overall atmosphere within the school reinforces the enjoyment of learning and individual development, whilst providing the essential support needed.

- Mike Donald, Local Authority Governor, March 2023
