If you enjoy an outdoor challenge, love open water swimming or cycling – and would like to make a difference for a children’s charity, please read on! We are looking for swimmers and cyclists to take part in one of our three fundraising events taking place in July and in September, to raise money for The Children’s Trust, the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury.
For swimming enthusiasts, who would like to make a splash for a children’s charity, please consider taking part in The Great London Swim 2016 or Swim Serpentine.The Great London Swim 2016 will take place on Saturday 16 July in the shadow of the O2 Arena and Canary Wharf, where participants will swim one mile alongside the Excel centre. This event offers a fantastic opportunity to experience open water swimming in the heart of the vibrant East End.
Swim Serpentine, which is taking place on Saturday 24 September, is a brand new one mile challenge, set to become the UK’s largest open water swimming event. Taking place in Hyde Park, London, the same venue as the 2012 Olympic swimming competitions. Both events are suitable for swimmers (16 and over) of all abilities. Expert safety kayakers will be with you every stroke of the way.
We also need cyclists to join our London to Canterbury Cycling Challenge, which is taking place on Sunday 11 September. There are two routes to choose from 65 miles or 80 miles, through the scenic Kent countryside, including the stunning Pilgrims Way. There are discounts for team entries.
