VIP trip to West Ham FC for our rehab graduates

An exclusive football experience was enjoyed by three of The Children's Trust's rehab graduates on April 20. The group of young people were treated to a VIP day out at Upton Park watching a game in the home stadium of West Ham football club in their own private box, just meters from the pitch.

Alby, 18, Peter, 16 and Martin, 13 were invited by Jacqueline Gold CBE, Vice President of the Trust and daughter of West Ham FC Chairman David Gold to watch the team take on Wigan as part of the 2013 Premier League season. They were joined by their families, along with Ali Lalani, also Vice-President of the Trust and were treated to lunch and a special meet and greet with David Gold, and daughter Jacqueline Gold. » Click here to see a list of our celebrity Ambassadors For Alby, who received intense rehabilitation at The Children's Trust for an acquired brain injury after a serious road traffic accident, Saturday was particularly special. He and his family are lifelong West Ham supporters and to watch the match from a private box and to meet the Chairman was a once in a life time experience.
