TV star visits our Reigate shop

Actress Amanda Burton paid a return visit to The Children's Trust's charity stop in Bell Street Reigate, to draw tickets for our bi-annual SuperDraw raffle. Best known for her roles in Silent Witness, Peak Practice and Waterloo Road, actress Amanda Burton, who is an ambassador for The Children's Trust, picked eight tickets in the special draw, with the lucky recipients winning a combined £4,000 in cash! Amanda Burton said: "I have been involved with The Children's Trust for more than 15 years now, and I've visited the Reigate store before. I even volunteered here a few years ago and I'd urge other people to volunteer too, it's great fun. And I am going back in the autumn to dress the window – it's a lovely way to meet people and get involved in the local community. Through the wonderful work of this charity, the thousands of children in the UK left with a brain injury as a result of an accident or illness have hope. So if people do have any unwanted clothes or household items, why not donate it to the Reigate store?" Rachel Savage, Manager at The Children's Trust shop in Reigate, added: "It was really great to have Amanda in the shop again, she is lovely and very happy to meet and chat to customers. We hope that her visit will help to remind people that we are here, and always in need of donations and help from volunteers." The Children's Trust charity shop, 23-25 Bell Street, Reigate is open Monday 9am-5pm and on Sunday 10am-4pm. Volunteering for us.
