Surbiton father's fundraising challenge for charity

A father from Surbiton, who is one of the organisers for a supercar charity event, is on track for plans to raise money for a children’s charity. Peter Dietsch (39), an IT consultant from Berrylands, is currently signing-up drivers of supercars to take part in the spectacular Supercar Event, which is taking place at Dunsfold Park, Cranleigh on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July. Over 150 supercars will take part, including Mr Dietsch’s Lamborghini, providing exhilarating passenger rides on the famous Top Gear track. The annual event, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, raises money for The Children’s Trust, the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury. Last year, over £140,000 was raised and organisers are aiming to make this year’s event bigger and better! Peter Dietsch, who raised £3,000 for the children’s charity by completing the London Marathon last month, said: “The Supercar Event is not only a fantastic opportunity to experience a passenger ride in some of the world’s most amazing supercars, it also provides a fabulous weekend of entertainment for all the family. Come along and see for yourself.” For more information about The Supercar Event, visit:
