Spooky Zoo in aid of The Children's Trust

A Spooky Zoo has raised £5,000 for The Children’s Trust

Families got the chance to feel lizards, pythons and hairy spiders and were treated to a host of Halloween surprises during the event which was held at Woodcote Green Garden Centre, Wallington during half-term. A Michael Jackson Thriller-themed Flash Mob entertained unexpected shoppers to the garden centre, as over twenty Zumba dance instructors, unexpectedly took to the floor. Dressed as witches and zombies, the dancers, from Fiesta Fitness, led by Nicola Boardman, performed the iconic dance on the centre’s shop floor. Money raised from ticket sales and donations during Spooky Zoo will benefit The Trust. Lorraine Rudge, Community Fundraising Manager said: "A huge thank you to Woodcote Green and all the staff for putting on such an entertaining fundraising event. "The sixth form girls from Wallington High School for Girls were a great support, volunteering each day and organising pumpkin bowling. And Fiesta Fitness’ Flash Mob was such an impressive performance."
