Fundraise with your group or club

There are many fun and interesting ways that your club or society can support The Children's Trust. Last year our fundraising groups raised over £90,000 for children and families affected by brain injury. See below for ways in which you can help and whatever you decide to do we will support you all the way!

We rely on donations from sports clubs, associations, societies, faith and community groups and we work closely with all our supporter groups in the local community. Clubs who support us are varied from Rotary to Freemasons and golf to croquet clubs. Our aim is to create successful partnerships with all of our groups, ensuring we support them every step of the way.

Our supporters donate in various ways. It could be a one-off donation, a Charity of the Year partnership or by organising an event. Money is raised in a variety of ways and can include raffles, lunches, dinners, quiz nights, a sport competition or another fun event. We can support you at your meeting or event by providing fundraising materials, branding, videos and guest speakers. We can help and advise you on promoting your event or activity.

You could form your own fundraising group

Why not get together with friends, family or colleagues and form a fundraising group in your community and have fun organising events and activities.

How We'll Support You

You'll receive lots of advice and support from your local Children's Trust Fundraiser, including:

  • Literature and materials such as banners and balloons
  • Advice on how to set up a variety of fundraising events
  • Practical advice about licences for street collections and risk assessments
  • Advice on promoting events in your community
  • The opportunity to visit our national specialist centre to see how the money you raise will make a difference

Your events and activities don't have to be huge. Every pound and hour that you volunteer makes a massive difference to children with brain injury and we’ll be here to support you every step of the way!

A supporter's story

This year the Captains at Bletchingley Golf Club have chosen to partner The Children's Trust. They are hosting several golf events and tournaments at the club throughout the year, and we are providing speakers, branding and collection tins. Highlights of their fundraising year include joining our London Marathon Squad and taking on a gruelling 170 mile walk along the River Thames!

All of our partners know, no matter how big or small their fundraising target is or the size of their donation, they are supporting the UK's leading charity for children with brain injury both locally, within their community and across the country.
