Say goodbye to the round pound

Chloe Edwards

From 15 October 2017 the round pound will no longer be legal tender, replaced by a new 12 sided design. We would like to ask our supporters to donate their last round pounds to The Children’s Trust to help children with brain injury and neurodisability live the best lives possible. 5 round pounds could buy a multisensory toy, crucial to help stimulate a child and inspire them to respond - sometimes for the first time since their accident or illness. 10 round pounds could pay for a child to visit Kew Gardens at Christmas. Activities and day’s out can make a real difference to a child’s rehabilitation. 20 round pounds could pay for a child’s horse riding lesson, an important physiotherapy exercise that builds core muscles. Plus it’s a lot of fun! To get involved and say #byeroundpound - email your name and contact details to getinvolved@thechildrenstrust.org.uk and we will send you a fundraising box. Alternatively, you can donate your last round pound online: thechildrenstrust.org.uk/donate and select 'Bye round pound'
