Shop Manager, Full Time, Permanent / £17,927.50 per annum (37.5 hrs per week - 5 days a week)As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth day to day running of one of our shops.You will be responsible for maximising shop profit by achieving budgeted income, controlling shop expenditure in line with budget and recruiting and retaining a motivated team of volunteers. Our Reigate shop is always busy which provides a local presence and service to our supporters, therefore we are looking for someone who is an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with a passion for working with the charity.You can find out what it means to work for The Children's Trust from Linda, who is the manager at our shop in Tadworth, Surrey.

Knowledge and Skills required:

  1. Experience of working in and preferably, managing, a team - essential
  2. Experience of working within a customer focused environment - essential
  3. Ability to prioritise and organise workload using basic administration skills - essential
  4. Experience of selling and merchandising – desirable
  5. Experience of working with volunteers – desirable
  6. Ability to drive and have use of a car - desirable
