The Real Journey of Acquired Brain Injury

  • Following the success of last year, The Children’s Trust will be repeating The Real Journey of Acquired Brain Injury study day which follows the personal journey of a child and their family from the moment of diagnosis through to living everyday life with an acquired brain injury. This presents the family’s perspective as well as that of healthcare professionals. The event is open to healthcare professionals involved with nursing or caring for a child with acquired brain injury who want to improve their knowledge and understanding. The study day offers a unique insight into acquired brain injury and its resulting effects (both emotional and physical). It also looks at practical strategies and current research and evidence to help care for a child or young person with a brain injury, both in an acute and non-acute setting. Join us on the journey and book your place for £75 (lunch included). For more information please email or call 01737 364352
