Our 'man-pering' session with Tim Vine

nfectious giggling gripped The Children's Trust today (12 March 2015) when comedian Tim Vine popped-by to join the boys for a Hollywood style 'man-pering' session. Students at The Children's Trust School who have severe complex needs were joined by the comedian for a personal care session, where they had nails filed and enjoyed a foot spa and hand massage. The children were keen to tell Tim their jokes, including 16 year old Ramen Singh who was celebrating his last day at The Children's Trust. Ramen collapsed while getting ready for school last October (2014), and suffered a bleed on the brain resulting in a brain injury. He has been at The Children's Trust following three months of intensive rehabilitation and will be making a return to his old school on Monday. Knowing Tim was a keen darts player, Ramen brought along his magnetic dartboard and challenged him to a game. Ramen said: "It was great to meet Tim, he was very funny and pulled lots of funny faces. I have some great jokes to tell my friends when I go back to school next week." Tim said: "I am an avid supporter of The Children's Trust, I think they do a fantastic job."
