Now you have an excuse to pick the kids up in your pyjamas

Now you have an excuse to pick the kids up in your pyjamas — for a whole week! The 3rd October 2016 will see The Children’s Trust celebrating the return of annual charity event Humphrey’s Pyjama Week, and everyone’s invited. For a voluntary donation of £2, children, families and staff can wear their favourite pyjamas, taking part in all the best sleepover games, from treasure hunts to tea-parties. All proceeds will be donated to The Children’s Trust to help support children with brain injuries across the UK. And with the success of last year’s Humphrey’s Pyjama Week, when over 18,000 children donned pyjamas in support, hopes are high that this year can be even better. Having teamed up once more with Humphrey from Humphrey’s Corner, The Children’s Trust has a whole host of fun and exciting activity suggestions available, from recipes to make scrummy “snail” sandwiches and wibbly wobbly jellies to playing sleeping lions (or elephants, in this case!) Each nursery, school or group that participates can register for the event pack, free of charge, filled with goodies such as stickers, posters, certificates and a special story booklet. Plus, a teachers pack full of ideas is included to help plan for a week of pyjama fun.  Just visit  or call 01737 364303 for more details. The Children’s Trust offers the largest residential brain injury rehabilitation unit in the country, supporting children through a range of therapies to help them make the best possible return to ordinary life. Your donations will go towards the specialist care required by the children at The Children’s Trust, as well as making sure they have a chance to participate in a host of fun-filled activities. As children’s TV presenter, Sid Sloane who is supporting the campaign, says: “It’s a fantastic cause. And wearing your pyjamas all day, I couldn’t think of anything better!”
