Television presenter Laura Hamilton joins families at charity easter fair

Television presenter Laura Hamilton, husband Alex and their two children – Rocco(2) and Tahlia(10 months) dropped into The Children's Trust's Easter Fair at Tadworth Court at the weekend (Saturday 26th March). Despite the wet and windy weather, over 1,500 visitors flocked to the annual event to enjoy an afternoon of entertainment and activities, which included the popular Easter egg hunt, go-kart and fairground rides, farmyard corner, and Tom's Talking Reptiles. Youngsters lined-up to meet Peppa Pig and mascots, whilst crowds flocked into the Easter Market marquee to buy merchandise from the many stalls. Hannah Vince, Community Fundraising Co-ordinator at The Children's Trust, and organiser of the event said: "We had a fantastic turnout and we were delighted that Laura Hamilton and her family came along to enjoy the Fair. "I would like to thank everyone involved who made the afternoon such a success – from our stall holders, our loyal band of volunteers, to the families who turned out to show their support despite the weather. Finally, I would like to say a huge thank you to the companies and community groups who kindly donated Easter Eggs." It is expected that the Easter Fair will raise in the region of £6,000 for the children's charity. The Children's Trust is the UK's leading charity for children with brain injury.
