It's Volunteers Week!

The Children's Trust relies on the support and dedication of around 550 volunteers.  During 2014/2015, they clocked up 110,000 recorded hours, from the 47 per cent who work in the shops, to the box collection teams who keep our collection box programme operating. Last year they counted the contents of a phenomenal 4,305 boxes, totalling £73,751.

Over the past year, our volunteer drivers have travelled the equivalent of the distance from Land’s End to John O’ Groats 37 times! Last year’s two-day Supercar event was supported by 400 volunteers, and our Kingswood Support Group volunteer fundraising team held an event at the Shard which raised £33,000. We've also had 99 work experience students helping on site during the year and 194 in our shops. If Volunteers Week has inspired you to get involved, take a look at our latest volunteer vacancies and find out how you can lend your support.
