Internal Communications Officer (HR)

Location: Tadworth Court, Tadworth, Surrey, KT20 5RU Duration: Ongoing Time commitment: Minimum 4 hours a week (flexible)  About The Children's Trust: The Children's Trust is the UK's leading charity for children with brain injury. Come and join our team of 500 dedicated volunteers who support us in the vital work that we do, to give children with brain injury the best life possible. Role purpose: We are looking for a Communications Officer to support the People and Organisational Development (POD) Team to deliver effective, clear and engaging internal communications to staff and volunteers across the organisation. What will the role involve?
  • Writing intranet blogs and content about HR and the POD team.
  • Keeping our profile page on our intranet up to date
  • Helping source and produce content for the weekly e-newsletter and quarterly printed newsletter
  • Working in collaboration with members of the communications team
  • Liaising with all staff members of the team to ensure we are communicating their achievements to the rest of The Children’s Trust
  • Providing  administrative support where needed
What skills and experience will you need? 
  • No experience required.
  • Adaptability and flexibility

  • Excellent communication and writing skills
