Information for parents

Here at The Children's Trust, we're committed to raising the levels of understanding of childhood acquired brain injury within the community. The Brain Injury Hub, provides a wealth of information on childhood brain injury, drawing on the specialist clinical expertise that has been developed at The Children's Trust in more than 25 years of providing rehabilitation to children with acquired brain injury (ABI). Parents of children with ABI have also shared their stories and made their own suggestions about what should be included. The site offers comprehensive, fully-referenced information as well as a discussion forum for parents and family members. It is packed full of information about childhood brain injury, including: being in hospital, returning to school, talking to others about brain injury, parent and sibling wellbeing and much more. We're proud that the website has been accredited with The Information Standard, the Department of Health's quality mark for reliable sources of health information.
