In tribute to Sir Brian Hill

A dinner at Goldsmith’s Hall in London on 28 June launched an innovative volunteer initiative, The Sir Brian Hill Volunteer Programme. Backed by the Hill family in memory of Sir Brian who died late last year, the dinner was a fitting tribute to the former Chairman and President of the charity who was a dedicated volunteer throughout his life. The Programme will recruit and train more volunteers to support the work of The Children’s Trust, and recognise the valuable contribution volunteers make to the organisation. Charity Ambassador Elaine Paige OBE, spoke at the event alongside Alex, a young man who received intensive rehabilitation from the charity after a brain tumour. Alex gave a moving address which paid testament to the amazing work done at The Children’s Trust. If you’re interested in volunteering click here
