Edgeborough pupils and parents score an A* for their fundraising
Edgeborough School chose The Children’s Trust as their charity of the year and we would like to thank them!
Edgeborough School chose The Children’s Trust as their charity of the year and managed to raise an incredible £11,691.87!
The children were involved in raising money through a wide range of individual and group activities over the academic year and one of the teachers even ran the London Marathon in aid of The Children’s Trust. The Edgeborough Parents’ Association also made a fantastic contribution through their fundraising activities throughout the year and raised £5,000.
One pupil Sophie took up the challenge of swimming 10km to raise money. She not only completed this amazing task in around 4 hours, stopping only for a few bathroom and Jelly Babies breaks, but she managed to raise £1,660.00 in the process! Well done Sophie on taking part in and completing such an amazing challenge.

Again, thank you to all of the staff, children and parents from Edgeborough for a fantastic year and for making a real difference to the children and families we support!
