Construction ball raises £16k

Members from the construction industry and their guests celebrated an annual charity ball at the Duchess Stand, Epsom Racecourse on Friday, 28th November 2014, to overall raise £16,000 for The Children’s Trust. The black-tie charity event, attended by 130 people included dinner and entertainment. Antique’s expert, Thomas Plant from television’s Bargain Hunt and Antique’s Road Trip, provided a very entertaining auction for guests. Tracy Poulton, Special Events Fundraising at The Children’s Trust, said: “I would like to thank Paul Burgess, Chris Dulley and all the construction industry members for their fantastic support. Also our special thanks to Thomas Plant.” All money raised will benefit The Children’s Trust, the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury.
