Full time and part time roles availableFull Time, Permanent / £17,352 - £23,586 (depending on experience) +enhancementsWe are looking for enthusiastic Children’s Support Assistants to support the care needs of the children and young people based at The Children’s Trust.You will be based in any one of our unique services: rehabilitation, transitional care, long-term ventilation, and short breaks, or in one of our residential houses attached to The Children’s Trust School.

The Children's Trust rocket brand symbolOperating within our existing shift patterns, which include rotation onto day, evening and night shifts, you’ll play a key role in helping to ensure we meet their needs 24 hours a day. It’s frequently challenging and seldom straightforward, but hugely rewarding. Part time can be considered but you’ll need to work a minimum of 18.75 hours per week.As you develop within the role you will gain qualifications (QCF) and experience that will be rewarded with incremental salary increases up to a maximum of £23,586 per annum (plus enhancements).Ideally you will have previous experience of working with children/young people with disabilities and complex health needs. NVQ/QCF/RQF level 2 in Health & Social Care is also desirable although we will support you in achieving the qualifications expected for these roles which includes completion up to and including RQF level 3. You will also have the opportunity to progress through our salary range as you achieve the appropriate competency levels.
