Join in Humphrey's Pyjama Week
8th - 12th October 2012
The Children's Trust and the popular pre-school brand, Humphrey's Corner, are teaming up once again to bring preschool groups across the country, the enormously successful, Humphrey's Pyjama Week!
For a voluntary donation of £2per child, children can wear their pyjamas to nursery or school and participate in a number of fun and educational themed activities, whilst raising funds for The Children's Trust.
Each nursery/school that takes part will receive a fantastic FREE event pack, including:
- A poster for the nursery/school to advertise the event.
- A sticker and certificate for each child.
- Humphrey’s Corner activity booklet for each child.
- ‘Humphrey’s Special Day’ story booklet for the class.
- Party hat and bunting templates ...
...and, if your nursery or school raises over £100, you will also receive a special Humphrey's Corner gift, for all the children to enjoy!
Below are just some of the activities that children have previously taken part in for Humphrey’s Pyjama Week:
- Children dressed up in their pyjamas
- Took their teddies to school
- Coloured in pictures of Humphrey
- Made jam tarts (Humphrey’s favourite)
- Held cake sales
- Shared Humphrey stories
- Held Humphrey tea parties and picnics
- Held Humphrey treasure hunts
- Raffled off cuddly Humphrey toys
- Learnt all about elephants
- And one school even adopted an elephant!
