New rehabilitation centre for children with acquired brain injury
On 16th July Vice-President of The Children's Trust, Richard Hammond, opened our new rehabilitation centre.
We now have a superb, purpose-designed new centre - with an integrated hydrotherapy facility which is fully equipped for the children’s specialist medical needs.
This new Centre will offer specialist care to children with acquired brain injuries from all over the UK, and will make a huge difference to their quality of life and their enjoyment of the time they spend at the Trust.
When the children are not in therapy sessions, they are making use of the teenage den with its computers and games console, the multi-sensory room, the pool table and the outside play area.
New friends are made - here are Christina and Amy spending an afternoon colouring at the dining table.

Thank you to all the grant-making trusts, companies and individuals who have supported us with this project - we could not have done it without you.
