Research
The Children’s Trust has established a research partnership with the Institute of Child Health (ICH), which is attached to Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and is part of University College, London.
The aim of this joint research activity is to understand better the needs of children with disabilities and their families and to evaluate and improve our methods of treatment and care.
In order to develop this activity The Children’s Trust and the ICH have jointly appointed an experienced researcher, based partly at the ICH and partly at the Harrison Research Centre at The Children’s Trust. This researcher will lead our research programme, whilst also supporting the Trust’s clinical staff in designing and developing their own research projects.
Professionals at The Children's Trust also share their expertise and experience in articles published in the professional press. Click here to see a list of articles available for download.
