Posh Plaice supports The Children's Trust

As the fish and chips flew out of the door at the opening of Posh Plaice, a new restaurant in Tattenham Corner, it was all for a good cause - The Children’s Trust received part of the first day takings.

Posh Plaice, Tattenham Crescent, officially opened on 12th November with the Deputy Mayor of Reigate and Banstead, Councillor Nicholas Harrison there to taste the first fish and chips cooked. The restaurant kindly chose their local charity, The Children’s Trust, to receive money raised on the first day of trading. The Trust was delighted to receive £875 from the event.

Councillor Nicholas Harrison said: “It is extremely encouraging to see a new business open in Tattenham Corner. I hope the locals will support this project and treat themselves to a delicious meal once in a while.”

Oonagh Goodman, Senior Fundraising Manager for The Children’s Trust said: “We are really pleased Posh Plaice are raising money for the Trust. It is an exciting time for the restaurant team and we wish them all the best for the future and hope that they will continue to support us.”
