It could be ‘all aboard’ for three runners who would like to join one of the Flora London Marathon’s most memorable characters in next year’s famous event, supporting The Children’s Trust at the same time.

Lloyd Scott from Essex, known to many as the man who completed the Flora London Marathon 2002 in a deep-sea diving suit, is looking for three people to run with him dressed as Beatles in a light-weight, yellow submarine construction around next year’s event.

Lloyd Scott, who will be raising money for The Children’s Trust - the official charity of the Flora London Marathon 2009 - said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for three, like-minded runners who have a sense of a fun and determination to succeed. It will mean that we can really push the boat out and make a big splash for The Children’s Trust and help make a difference to the lives of some of the UK’s most severely disabled children.”

If you would like to be considered as one of the Fab Four and are willing to raise £15,000 for a place in this unique submarine – please email: londonmarathon@thechildrenstrust.org.uk, or telephone: 01737 365018.
