The Children’s Trust was paid a special visit by BBC London to find out how donations from supporters like Children in Need really do help to make a difference.

Since last year’s Children in Need appeal it has donated money which will be used to fund a room in the Trust’s new residential rehabilitation centre opening next year.

The new building based in Tadworth, Surrey, will enable The Children’s Trust to help more people like 14 year old Alby (pictured) who is currently on a rehabilitation programme after acquiring a brain injury.

Alby’s Mum Lisa said: “Before Alby came to the Trust he couldn’t do anything. Since we’ve been here he’s learnt so many more skills, he can talk again and he really wants to walk.”
